Autumn Makeup Haul

Heyy You!

So as you guys know, I went home to Ireland last week and got some goodies along the way! Some of them are repeats of things I already have, and others are new additions to my beauty/makeup collection. I generally wear the same shades of eyeshadow all year round and then I tend to change my look in Autumn/Winter with foundations, bronzer and more striking shades of lipstick.

Johnsons Body Care
Catrice - My Red Card
Dior Eyeshadow - Swan
Maybelline Nail Varnish - Berry Fusion
Mac Lipglass - Oyster Girl
Nivea Sooth & Protect
17 Blusher - First Kiss
Maybelline Lipstick - Hollywood Red

These two really are separate ends of the cost scale, this MUA Eyeshadow palette is really nice for a smokey brown look, it's got a great consistency considering the price of it. This Dior - Swan eyeshadow is a great way to give your makeup a nice evening glow.

I really love bright red and wine coloured lipsticks for this time of year. They give a nice warm tone to your face and of course for the festive season (sorry for mentioning that already, I have no self control). My skin is extremely sensitive and my lips are no exception unfortunately, so I have to use a lip balm when the weather starts to change or my lips crack, nice eh! I got this Nivea Soothe & Protect balm to try and prevent cracking and so far, so good. I like wearing this MAC Cremesheen Glass over my Inglot nude lipstick on nights out. Nude lipstick is a great look but I feel like wearing a lip gloss over it gives it a bit of a softer look.

In the Summer I was wearing a lot of pastel colours which I personally don't love. I much prefer richer colours like red, navy and sometimes black with a nice tan and some gold jewelry.

These are a few of the magazines I've been reading this month! I had 'Heat' and 'Gracia' on my plane journey and my sister got me this Irish magazine, 'U'. It's not often I get to read magazines with all the Uni work I have throughout the year and the endless pile of books I have to read so it's a real treat when I get to sit down and have a flick through a few of these!

What new products have you guys been trying recently? Have a great weekend!
