Autumn Makeup Haul

Heyy You!

So as you guys know, I went home to Ireland last week and got some goodies along the way! Some of them are repeats of things I already have, and others are new additions to my beauty/makeup collection. I generally wear the same shades of eyeshadow all year round and then I tend to change my look in Autumn/Winter with foundations, bronzer and more striking shades of lipstick.

Johnsons Body Care
Catrice - My Red Card
Dior Eyeshadow - Swan
Maybelline Nail Varnish - Berry Fusion
Mac Lipglass - Oyster Girl
Nivea Sooth & Protect
17 Blusher - First Kiss
Maybelline Lipstick - Hollywood Red

These two really are separate ends of the cost scale, this MUA Eyeshadow palette is really nice for a smokey brown look, it's got a great consistency considering the price of it. This Dior - Swan eyeshadow is a great way to give your makeup a nice evening glow.

I really love bright red and wine coloured lipsticks for this time of year. They give a nice warm tone to your face and of course for the festive season (sorry for mentioning that already, I have no self control). My skin is extremely sensitive and my lips are no exception unfortunately, so I have to use a lip balm when the weather starts to change or my lips crack, nice eh! I got this Nivea Soothe & Protect balm to try and prevent cracking and so far, so good. I like wearing this MAC Cremesheen Glass over my Inglot nude lipstick on nights out. Nude lipstick is a great look but I feel like wearing a lip gloss over it gives it a bit of a softer look.

In the Summer I was wearing a lot of pastel colours which I personally don't love. I much prefer richer colours like red, navy and sometimes black with a nice tan and some gold jewelry.

These are a few of the magazines I've been reading this month! I had 'Heat' and 'Gracia' on my plane journey and my sister got me this Irish magazine, 'U'. It's not often I get to read magazines with all the Uni work I have throughout the year and the endless pile of books I have to read so it's a real treat when I get to sit down and have a flick through a few of these!

What new products have you guys been trying recently? Have a great weekend!

Primark Haul

Hey Guys,

I went to Primark on Tottenham Court Road today to have a look at their Autumn/Winter range and I ended up picking up a few bits. When I have Uni I like wearing something comfortable when I'm going to be sat in a lecture for a few hours where its generally either too hot or too cold so I decided to grab a few pieces that I can layer up with!

Pink Slippers - £2.50
Midi Rings - £1.50
Candles - £1.50
Necklace - £4.00
Umbrella - £4.00

I thought this statement necklace would be really cool with the skater dress or even with one of the jumpers I got to give them a bit of a lift and look more quirky. They have really nice necklaces in their new range, I had three in picked up and decided I'd get this one in the end. *sad face*

Black Skater Dress - £5.00

Green Lace Leotard - £5.00

I have this lace leotard in black and purple too, they look really nice tucked into jeans with some heels for a night out and as always I put some sort or arm hiding device on!

Navy & White Cardigan - £6.00

Green Slouch Sweater - £6.00

Red Slouch Sweater - £6.00

Have a great weekend everyone!

Birthday Haul

Oh, Hello!

As some of you may already know from my last post, I turned 22 this week so I've decided to share a few things I got myself for my Birthday with you! You've got to get yourself a present...right? I had such a nice birthday this year, it was mostly chilled out which is a change. I went out a few times during the week for dinner with different friends and family to celebrate and if you saw my last blog post you will have seen the lovely cake I got and what I wore. I went on a night out with friends to the Porterhouse in Covent Garden on Saturday night which was so busy because it's a bank holiday weekend so it was jammers! I went to the Notting Hill Carnival today too which was a crazy and a really nice way to spend the day!

This is the first birthday I've spent away from home (Ireland) ever! I did miss home but everyone in London made it really special and I had an amazing day (week!!). I am looking forward to going home and seeing everyone and celebrating in Limerick too! Always an excuse to celebrate even if it's a bit late. Thanks again to everyone for all the Birthday wishes, cards and presents!

Inglot - 403 (Nude)

Candle - Primark
Bracelet - Blarney Woollen Mills

Top - Primark
Jeans - Marks and Spencers

Birthday Flowers from Alex!
Blouse - French Connection

Dress - Primark
Necklace Collar - Dorothy Perkins

Two of Many Lovely Cards I Recieved

I may have also ordered myself this Ladies mini gold Casio watch from Asos today too, I've wanted it for ages now, I really like it, there's something a bit different about it. I like that it isn't massively 'girly'. It's understated but the black face gives it a bit of an edge. I tend to wear a lot of dark clothes so I think this will give my look a little bit of a lift and a bit of glamour layered with some coloured and gold bracelets. I can't wait for it to arrive, hurry Asos!

Have a great week everyone!
